“I am not afraid of storms,  for I am learning how to sail my ship.”

– Louisa May Alcott

Living life fully certainly includes allowing your “ship” to drift and glide peacefully into sundrenched coves, to pause at leafy pools. It also includes being challenged by wind and rough waters in which we seem to be urged to sail against the current. Learning to sail is an extraordinary experience, both spiritual and practical, in which you often discover that nothing you really want is upstream and your journey becomes much easier.

Consider that the longest relationship you will ever have is with yourself, yet few of us take the time to know, understand and appreciate who we are.  Leaving unnecessary baggage behind is easier than it sounds.

There is wisdom in the belief that your experiences are always consistent with your beliefs about yourself. Awareness is the key that allows a person to transform what is not working in his life.  There is virtually no situation that cannot be improved.

It may be time to “bring your boat to shore” to ensure it’s readiness. Happiness and contentment are choices and we get to write our own new life story. SUCCESS helps us trust the seaworthiness of our craft; we no longer feel at the mercy of the whims of fated winds and tides.  Mastering this self-confidence is at once the journey and the goal.          June Radicchi (831)233-6689
